You will encounter this error message if you've recently merged your Audible and Amazon accounts but are still attempting to sign in with your Audible username in the Audible for Android app.
To fix this error, you will have to sign out of the Audible application and sign back in using your Amazon email address and password. Follow the steps below:
- Tap the left navigation menu .
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Sign Out [Amazon email address or Audible username]
- Tap Sign In on the Welcome to Audible screen.
- Enter your Amazon sign-in credentials. Note: To sign back in, you will want to use the Amazon email address and password that you used to merge with your Audible account.
- Tap Sign In.Once you are signed back into your account, attempt to redownload the Audiobook.
